SIT Società Italiana Trasporti [lit. Italian Transport Company] was founded in 1967 in Milan as a company specialising in the implementation of customs procedures. The economic boom phenomenon led founders Mr Martinelli and Mr Laurenzi to open an office in Genoa in the early 1970s and, subsequently, one in Hong Kong, which still acts as the “front desk” for all trade to and from China.

Over the decades, thanks to a complex network of correspondents in Europe and in the rest of the world, the company has acquired significant know-how in the freight and logistics market.

A high-level technical customs advisory service to customers, in addition to experience and ad hoc projects, allow for the creation of a better solution to be followed for the management of goods, with the aim of offering a quality service at the best possible price.

Led today by a collaboration between the second and third generation within the family, SIT is ready to assert its growing presence in the international freight forwarding scene.
