About Polfrost Internationale Spedition Sp. Z.o.o. (Warsaw, Poland)
Polfrost is a group of companies, which, through the interconnection network offers integrated forwarding services and logistics solutions created to meet the needs and expectations of customers.
Our History
Beginning and development of Polfrost’s business on the international market is entrenched in economic and political changes in Europe at the end of XX century. The company was established in Warsaw in 1996 as a response to market demand for temperature controlled transport from Western Europe to the East (mainly to Russia).
Immediately problems with trucks supply have accrued and Polish transport companies could not longer face growing demand. To cope with growing requirements, we created the system of efficient combined transport, generating resources for further development on other areas. Sudden decrease in Russian purchase in the West, effected by a crisis of 1998 has tended us to change our market strategy. Polfrost has concentrated on transport between Poland and Western Europe.
Combined Transport
We revived combined transport directed to Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. To fulfill our clients’ needs we have created services and logistic solutions which we gradually extend. Currently we are running 15 branch and representative offices in Europe and Asia. They are cooperating with producers, business and trading companies. Currently Polfrost uses to provide not road and rail transport services, but also is an air and ocean freight forwarding company.
In everyday work, using our experience and resources, we ensure:
- individual approach to our clients,
- optimal logistic solutions,
- high quality and security of goods (according to ISO, IFS, WSK and SQAS standards),
- constant monitoring of transported consignments,
- customs services,
- reloading services on borders, in ports and terminals,
- bonded warehouse,
- competitive price conditions and forms of payments.
The range of services we offer is aimed mainly to companies operating in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, building, military, electronic and oil&gas industries. |
