Another experience that is for the books! Our 20th CLN Annual Partnership Meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia attended by 245+ freight forwarders from all over the world was again, a BIG success!

Our jam-packed #CLNinPhnomPenh conference officially kicked off with a Fellowship Golf Game at Cambodia's best luxury golf course, Vattanac Golf Resort - East Course early in the morning.

The team that won the game was the flight of Felipe Mazzini of Silver Freight Logistics Srl from Argentina, John Narix Dela Torre of Translogistica International Freight Inc. from the Philippines, and Jinsoon Kim of AGL Co., Ltd. from South Korea.

Clad in casual white attires, it was a memorable opening cocktail to officially start the 20th CLN Annual Partnership Meeting.

It was a fun experience to meet and rekindle relationships with the CLN freight forwarders.

Even the humid weather didn't stop delegates from enjoying and having a good time while some of them continued networking in the pool! Cambodia's renowned Peacock Dance was also performed during the night.

The opening of the morning session was headed by Nils Walle, CLN director & co-founder, who presented CLN Network Updates followed by the ‘CLN Newbie Open Mic’ featuring all new CLN members coming up on stage to introduce themselves and their respective companies.

Afterwards, Dr. Patrick Dixon, Chairman of Global Change Ltd had a keynote speech on Future Trends and their impact on logistics and supply chains.

The morning session was concluded by posing for our official CLN group photo for this year’s conference!

Aside from our signature social events, the main highlight of the CLN Annual Event will always be the ‘Face-to-Face Meetings’.

More than 245 freight forwarders from all over the world were able to connect with new members while also reinvigorating their relationships with long-time participants. It was indeed a very fruitful day!

After a long day, our delegates really deserved a night off to chill & party! The saying 'work hard, party harder' indeed happened as our delegates enjoyed overflowing drinks, grooved into the music, and sang their hearts out during the CLN Club Night at Metropole Underground at Hyatt Regency Hotel!

Our CLN Loyalty Awardees for 3 & 5 years were also awarded during that night. We also had a beer drinking competition wherein our CLN member, Aki Tsuchiya of Alpha Global Logistics, Inc from Japan was declared as the winner.

It was indeed an awesome way to celebrate the 20th partnership networking of CLN!

Ended Day 3 of our conference with our CLN Sunset Cocktail Awards Ceremony at the Sora Skybar!

After a long & tiring day of city tours & face-to-face meetings, our CLN freight forwarders unwind & enjoyed drinks high above the city at one of the best sky bars in Phnom Penh - the Sora Skybar!

CLN also announced Special Awardees such as Gordon Bohnen of Share Logistics GmbH from Germany & Beverly Arcangel of Prozone Xpress Logistics Inc from the Philippines who were considered as ‘Best Dressed.’ Chris Warr of Warrior Global Freight from Australia & Alina Iancu of ASG Wind Transport SRL from Romania were given ‘Best Personality Awards.’ ‘Best Looks Awards’ went to Damian Kaczkowski of Alfa Forwarding Ltd. Sp. Z O.O. from Poland & Deniz Guzelocak of Omega Global Logistics Ltd. from Turkiye.

Paulo Ferreira of Multicargo Transportes e Logistics LDA. from Portugal also won the 'Early Bird Award' while the ‘Last Man Standing Award’ went to Reinhard Schwarz of ILG International Logistic Gateway GmbH  from Austria.

On day 3, hundreds of freight forwarders joined the CLN City Tour at the Royal Palace, Independence Monument, Wat Phnom.

Despite the sunny & hot weather, delegates enjoyed the CLN City tour and learned a lot about the history & culture of Cambodia. They also witnessed a Hornbill, a black bird with a long, down-curved beak in Wat Phnom which is locally considered as a divine spirit.
