Sany Europe has announced that it will be offering a complete portfolio of Sany harbour cranes to customers located in Europe.
The range originates from existing Sany supply and will comprise:
RMGs from 10t to 65t
RTGs from 10t to 65t
Mobile harbour cranes from 41t to 210t
Ship-to-shore gantry cranes from 35t to 80t
Jib cranes from 16t to 200t
The statement from Jann René Hansen, Sales Director, Port Machinery,
SANY Europe GmbH in Bedburg, Germany, adds that Sany has delivered over 300 harbour cranes outside Europe. Manufacturing and assembly are carried out in Sany’s new factory in Zhuhai in South East China, where the factory has its own load-out harbour and 5 km long quay frontage in order to facilitate direct shipping.
To reinforce the sales of the new harbour crane range, Sany has employed Tobias S Ling as Key Account Manager. He previously worked for Liebherr Port Equipment, based at the Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock plant in Germany.
"We have planned this for a while," Jann René Hansen told worldcargonews online. "I wanted to have someone on board who knows the crane world before we went public with this."
In 2015 Sany supplied a STS crane to Mariner Group’s Baltic Container Terminal in the Port of Riga, in association with OMG-MGM.
Sany has recently supplied six hybrid drive RTGs to HIT, Hong Kong and 15 E-RTGs to JNPT, Mumbai.
