One of the highlights of our 15th CLN Annual Partnership Meeting which was held in Pullman Da Nang Beach Resort in Vietnam on March 14 to 17, 2017 is the United Nation Cocktail Welcome Reception on Day 1.
This year's welcome cocktail was successfully held with a theme of United Nations, bringing the world together. With a different approach this year, CLN successfully brought the world in Da Nang as majority of our participants proudly attended wearing their traditional attires. The cocktail reception was flooded by people wearing Ao Dai, Vietnamese national attire; Lederhosen of Germany; Sari, Kurtaand Sherwani of India; Toob or Kandura and Jallabiya of Sudan and United Arab Emirates; Baju of Malaysia; Batik of Indonesia; Cheongsam of China; Charro suit and Tabasco of Mexico; Kaftan and Djellaba of Morocco and even a piece of their nationality through Orange shoes representing Netherlands; and other clothes adorned with their national flags.
CLN has given character awards to the chosen participants who exerted effort in wearing the best national costume they can wear which symbolizes the country they represent. Character Awards ceremony was held on the 2nd day of the conference, on the evening of Furama Beach Resort.
