CLN’s 18th Annual Partnership Meeting in Phuket, Thailand, attended by 120+ freight forwarders from all over the world was a HUGE success and indeed a memorable and extraordinary experience!
Having been the first network to hold a freight forwarders partnership networking event in Asia/Thailand amid the pandemic, CLN paved the way for a fantastic, and one for the books, networking experience!
It was indeed a refreshing breather for all of us, after the long 2-year hiatus of staying at home and attending virtual meetings.
The 4-day conference at Phuket beach started off with a Fellowship Golf Game at the famous Loch Palm Phuket Golf Club early on the first morning.
Teeing off and swinging in style, the team that won the game was ‘Flight Number 3’ which included golfers Luis Kloske Caso and Javier Novo Martin of Transit Laresco, S.L from Spain; Chris Warr of Warrior Global Freight from Australia; and Brett Harris of Nu-Era Logistics Inc from Canada.
Special thanks to our sponsor, Midwest Transatlantic Lines, Inc. from the United States for being CLN’s official sponsor for this year’s annual pre-conference golf game.
It was a remarkable opening cocktail to officially start CLN’s 18th Annual Partnership Meeting as we once again welcomed delegates from all over the world after a long 2-year break.
It was a fun and delightful experience to meet and rekindle relationships with our other freight forwarders and partnership members.
Capping off the night, our CLN Welcome Cocktail night ended with an astounding fire-dance beside the pool that even the other hotel guests were amazed to witness!
Our special thanks to our CLN Welcome Cocktail sponsor, CT Freight Pty Ltd from Australia.
After a night full of fun, it was business as usual the next day. The opening morning session was headed by Nils Walle, CLN director & co-founder, who presented our CLN Network Updates including some CLN Intranet developments.

Aside from our signature social events, the highlight of the CLN’s 18th Annual Partnership Meeting will always be the ‘Face-to-Face Meetings’ which are deemed to be more special this year as they were the first in-person meeting after 2 years!
So, finally, 120+ freight forwarders from all over the world were able to connect with new members and rekindled their relationships with the old ones. It was indeed a very fruitful day!
Another long-awaited part of CLN’s 18th Annual Partnership Meeting was the beach party! Surrounded by lush trees, white sands and sea breeze, the CLN Awards Dinner and Beach Barbecue party was indeed the perfect way to spend the night after a day full of meetings!
